How it works

A floor, not a sling.

Soft hammocks sag into the footwell and leave paws hunting for footing. The platform fills that drop with something firm, so the back seat becomes one level place to stand, turn and lie down.

The platform gives your dog steady footing. It doesn't hold them in place in a sudden stop, and it hasn't been crash tested. Clip your dog's harness to a seat-belt tether every time, and keep dogs in the back seat, away from front airbags.

How does reserving work?

Choose a set and tap Reserve. Your email app opens a short note to [email protected] with your choice filled in, and we reply from a real inbox to confirm. Nothing is charged now. When your order is ready to ship, we email you the details and a checkout link, and you decide then.

Will it fit my car?

It's made for cars, SUVs and trucks with a rear bench seat. Take the three measurements in Check your fit and send them with your car's make, model and year. We'll check them against the platform and tell you plainly before you pay.

Is it built for big dogs?

Yes. The top is a rigid board, not a fabric sling, so it stays flat under a large dog lying across it. If your dog is especially heavy, tell us their weight when you reserve and we'll give you a straight answer.

Is it a safety restraint?

No. It's a surface, not a restraint, and it hasn't been crash tested. Clip your dog's harness to a seat-belt tether on every drive (one comes in the Road Trip Kit), and keep dogs out of the front seat.

Can people still ride in the back?

Yes. Lift the platform out, fold it flat, and keep it in the trunk or garage until the next trip.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the cover with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. A vacuum or lint roller takes care of fur along the seams.

What's the difference between the two sets?

The Platform ($129) is the platform on its own. The Road Trip Kit ($169) adds a waterproof hammock seat cover for the bench and a seat-belt tether that clips to your dog's harness.

What about shipping and returns?

Shipping is free within the US, and you'll get tracking by email when yours leaves. If it isn't right for your car or your dog, you have 30 days from delivery to send it back.

Where are the reviews?

We don't have any yet, and we won't invent them. First-batch owners will be asked for an honest review after they've used it for a while.
